General information

Chobe Marina Lodge is located in the north eastern corner of Botswana where four great African countries converge: Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana and Namibia. The Lodge is set amidst some of Africa's most sought after attractions. To name but a few - the big five of Chobe National Park, the Zambezi and Chobe National Park, the Zambezi and Chobe rivers, Namibia's Caprivi strip, the Kasane Forest Reserve and Victoria Falls, all of which are a short drive away.


At Chobe Marina Lodge, all sixty-two of the river facing bedrooms capture the essence of Africa and your safari experience at Chobe Marina Lodge allows you to get up close and personal with nature.

Activities include relaxing sunset and sightseeing cruises by boat on the Chobe river, lazing around the shaded rainforest-protected swimming pool, tiger and other game fishing along one of the rivers, a game of golf at one of the nearby locations and, of course, encounters with Africa's magnificent big five game. Victoria Falls day trips can also be arranged. The lodge is home to an abundance of wildlife, including the legendary fish eagle, vervet monkey, squirrel, warthog, mongoose and fruit bat - so there is always something to see.

Photographic opportunities abound, sunset moments are plentiful and with more than 45 000 elephant that reside within the Chobe National Park, you are guaranteed to bank a lasting memory or two.

Location

Kasane is located near the north-eastern boundary of the Chobe National Park. With a perfect location right on the Chobe River, the Chobe Marina Lodge is just a few kilometres from the entrance to Chobe National Park and 10 minutes from Kasane airport.

Activities

With the world-renowned Chobe National Park just 10-minutes from Chobe Marina Lodge, an encounter with Africa's awesome foursome (elephant, leopard, lion and buffalo) is definitely on the cards. A river boat cruise to the park, will introduce you to a totally different game viewing experience. Other activities to enhance your experience at Chobe Marina Lodge include a leisurely sightseeing cruise to Sedudu island, or for a more thrilling experience you can try your hand at fishing for the famed tiger fish, which inhabit the Chobe and Kasai River systems.
