Azura is one of only a handful of resorts in Mozambique where the community are major contributors and stakeholders. Mozambiquean Gabriel and his family, after whom the site is named, first established a tourism business on site several years ago. They are major stakeholders in the resort, and continue to be involved on a daily basis.
