General information

Periwinkle is situated on Beachyhead Drive, overlooking Robberg Beach, the Tsitsikamma Mountains and with direct access to Robberg Beach. The Lodge is perfectly situated for leisurely walks or a lazy day spent on the beach and is the ideal place to stay and explore this scenic part of the Garden Route.

Periwinkle is a beachfront Guest House offering panoramic seaviews. The rooms are comfortable and tastefully decorated with en-suite bathrooms that offer you every luxury and stunning views.

The unique and most exciting feature of this area is the abundance in marine mammals in the bay which is flanked by two marine nature reserves and therefore rich in food for the resident whales and dolphins. You can watch the whales & dolphins frolicking in the waves whilst enjoying a scrumptious breakfast. The Southern Right Whales migrate to this part of the Indian Ocean to calve during season.

Periwinkle Guest Lodge is situated in Plettenberg Bay, on South Africa's Garden Route.

Rooms

All the rooms are individually decorated in bright, happy colours which reflect the surrounding sea and mountains. Six of the seven rooms have private balconies where guests can enjoy the panoramic views. Most Rooms are twin bedded but can be made up into king size beds on request. All rooms are en-suite and have TV's, direct dial telephones, personalised linen, heated towel rails, tea coffee facilities and Bar fridges.
