General Information
Hlosi (pronounced 'shlozi') Game Lodge invites you to share in their luxury, to warm to true African hospitality, and find a restful intimacy in the Eastern Cape bushveld. Here elephant herds line the horizon and cheetah settle silently in the long grass. Hlosi is a celebration of the African bush, conservation, food and of life.
On arrival at the Bushmans River Private Game Reserve reception, you will be met by your ranger who will explain the daily itinerary to you. You will then be transferred to Hlosi Game Lodge (a short drive) in a game viewing vehicle, so your safari begins immediately.
Hlosi is an intimate lodge redefines exclusivity with four individually styled suites designed to capture the spirit of a bygone era, while providing the luxuries of contemporary lodge living. There is also a new family suite which is the ideal place for those with kids to enjoy themselves at. Kids are extremely well taken care of at Hlosi, with dedicated rangers being assigned to them so you can relax completely and enjoy your time at Hlosi Game Lodge without any worries.
All the rangers at Hlosi are highly qualified and would be delighted to spend time with you on your specific topic of interest. Hlosi is committed to providing you with a memorable experience, a task made easier if you inform the lodge of special interests or requirements.
With Hlosi Game Lodge being a small lodge, the team encourages guests to maximize optimum game viewing time. For example you could do a full day out in the bush, stopping for a picnic lunch, canoe trip on the Bushman's River for wonderful birding, a guided walk, or tracking some of the larger species in the reserve.
