General Information
The unique Savanna Private Game Reserve is situated in the Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve, which borders South Africa's famous Kruger National Park.
Savanna is the epitome of a fully inclusive and diverse African wildlife and cultural experience. Memorable and exciting big game viewing and a fascinating insight into the local tribal customs of the Shangaan people will form part of your safari experience.
Savanna has seven beautifully appointed luxury tents. Three are top of the range Executive Suites, each of which has its own private plunge pool, and an indigenous garden area. The Savanna Suite is the epitome of luxury and comfort. All of the tents have rustic reed blinds, coir carpets and a draped canvas ceiling which combine to create the most luxurious tents in Africa.
Savanna traverses over ten thousand hectares of pristine African bushveld. Lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, rhino, cheetah, hippo and crocodile plus a multitude of general game and over 450 bird species may be viewed from the comfort and safety of the open game drive vehicle.
Game drives are conducted by professional and extremely well qualified game rangers and trackers, who are experienced and knowledgeable on all aspects of the bush. Optional walking safaris are conducted daily, in order to experience the beauty and fascination of Africa's flora and fauna.

Rooms
Savanna has seven luxury tents. The three Executive Suites have private plunge pools and indigenous garden areas. The Savanna Suite is designed under thatch and can accommodate up to four guests in two bedrooms with wooden decks leading onto a private plunge pool. All of the suites are air conditioned and have a well stocked mini bar. Pure cotton linen and top quality beds are standard, as are the rustic reed blinds, coir carpets, a draped canvas ceiling and built in lounge area.
Activities

Dining
The open air boma, overlooking the floodlit waterhole, creates a warm, friendly atmosphere. The boma at Savanna encompasses a thatched bar. Full English breakfasts and lunches are served on the verandah and dinner is served either in the dining room or in the starlit boma, warmed by a roaring log fire.
