Jaci's Safari Lodge will exceed all your safari expectations. The Lodge is situated in the Malaria free Madikwe Game Reserve boasting 75,000 hectares of territory. As well as the so-called "Big Five", you can also expect to see Wild Dog, both Black and White Rhino and extensive plains game, including Sable, Gemsbok, Springbok and Giraffe, as well as over 340 species of birds.

Jaci's Safari Lodge masterfully blends into its surroundings, encompassing a magnificent main area built around an ancient termite mound. The location was discovered and the concept envisaged by Jan and in combination with Jaci's colorful decorating style and attention to detail you are sure of a memorable and unique safari experience.

The lodge is very exclusive and caters to a limited number of guests. Jaci's Safari Lodge has only eight rooms, the exclusive 2 bed-roomed Nare Suite and the Safari Cottage, all of which offer outstanding accommodation and amenities.

The Nare Suite bedrooms have open plan bathrooms, with a hand made 'rock' bath and outdoor 'safari' shower, a wooden viewing deck overlooking a fabulous water hole and a private swimming pool. The lounge and outdoor dining area, is equipped with a self contained kitchen - where chefs can prepare meals for you in the luxury of your own retreat - should you so desire and the Suite comes equipped with a private game vehicle and professional guide you are assured of a bush breakaway to be remembered and repeated.

The Safari Cottage is beautifully positioned overlooking the Marico River and is perfect for families with older children. A separate bathroom has a wonderful bath and features an outdoor shower under a giant Tambotie tree. Sliding doors opening to the magnificent views you can enjoy the privacy afforded by the Safari Cottage.

Jaci's Safari Lodge is a mere 45 minute air hop from Johannesburg. Alternatively you can take a scenic drive which takes around three-hours. As Madikwe is completely malaria free, it makes it an ideal option for families with young children or those not want to take malaria prophylactics. The game reserve is fast establishing a reputation as a superb safari destination to rival South Africa's other major game viewing regions.
