Perfect days on Perfect Beaches
Although the remarkable city of Cape Town has an incredible variety of sights and attractions, it is definitely the quality of its beaches that steal the show. Stretching out along Cape Town’s Atlantic Seaboard, under the watchful eye of The Twelve Apostles’ mountain peaks, you can find an endless chain of beautiful white sandy beaches.
The beaches of Camps Bay, Clifton and Llandudno are synonomous with lazy days spent soaking up the rays of the warm African Sun. As Victoria Drive winds its way along the rugged coastline, this Cape Town “Riviera” provides an inordinate amount of pleasure beaches, boulders and sandy coves.
The most famous of all these beaches is Camps Bay, whose bustling promenade faces the clear blue Atlantic Ocean. After a day on the beach swimming and tanning there are a host of excellent restaurants and bars in which one can relax and take in the most incredible sunsets imaginable. Sip on an ice cold cocktail as the sun drops into the ocean and watch the strip come to life.
Luxury guesthouses, magnificent hotels and sprawling villas line the cliffs, providing a wealth of different beachside accommodations for you to choose from.

The nearby Clifton beaches (there are four in total) are popular with the Capetonians lucky enough to call this place home. Each beach is tailored to a different crowd so seek local advice when choosing your Clifton Beach.
Beyond Camps Bay, the picture postcard village of Llandudno boasts a lovely secluded beach, sunset rocks, and its very own shipwreck. Continue onwards along the coast and you’ll reach the fishing harbor village of Hout Bay, complete with its very own bustling Marina and lovely stretch of beach.
For those amongst you that enjoy the finer things in life, it’s a great idea to factor a few beach days into your holiday - find your own favourite spot, sit down with a good book, sip on a cold beer and set your watch on African time, letting the worries of the world fade away into the horizon.
