While Birkenhead Villa reflects the same levels of luxury, service and attention to detail as Birkenhead House, special care has been taken to give this superb six-bedroom villa an ambience of its very own.

Location

Situated right in front of the Ocean in the charming sea-side Town of Hermanus, just one and half hours drive from Cape Town.

Rooms

Birkenhead Villa can accommodate children of all ages and is especially recommended for Block Bookings, where guests can have the entire villa (complete with chef) to themselves. Birkenhead Villa has 6 rooms in total. Rooms 2a and 2b are inter-leading and ideal for a family unit.

Facilities

Facilities include access to Birkenhead House's gym and treatment centre. Not forgetting, of course, Hermanus' two best swimming beaches, which are just a leisurely stroll away and a beautiful swimming pool.

Dining

Grotto beach is the largest and longest in Hermanus. This beach has been awarded the prestigious Blue Flag Status. Looking out from the terrace, the beach on the left is VoÃƒÂ lklip, (translated from Afrikaans means bird stone). This beach lends itself to great bathing. Satff are always willing to pack a picnic basket to accompany you with a couple of beach bats and balls if you are feeling energetic! The beach on the right is called Nanny's or Kamma Bay Beach.
