General information

Located near the village of Bwejuu, Zanzibar and approximately one hour from the airport, this beautiful five star resort is situated along a pristine untouched beach stretching as far as the eye can see.

This family-run resort has all the comforts of a luxurious beach hotel with a unique charm, great attention to detail and tasteful decor. You'll find all the expected beach resort facilities to keep any hint of boredom at bay- an excellent dive centre , water sports equipment, a large swimming pool, fitness centre (with a gym, aerobics classes, African dance classes and massage rooms), Frangipani spa and even a floodlit tennis court. The 70 en-suite rooms are situated a short distance from the beach and offer air-conditioning, a mini-bar fridge and a safe.

Breezes Beach Club is situated on the south east coast of Zanzibar Island, near the village of Bweju.

Rooms

Breezes Beach Club has 70 rooms all tastefully decorated in ivory tones with teak wood finishes and Zanzibar carvings. There are three room categories; standard rooms are located on the ground floor and have terraces with garden views, deluxe rooms are identical in terms of decor and size but are located in close proximity to the sea. Suites are located on the upper level and have large balconies complete with sunbeds; they also have a larger bathroom and walk-in dressing room. All rooms are air-conditioned.

Activities

Activities include a water sports centre offering a range of activities, a PADI approved diving centre, a large free form swimming pool, tennis court, fitness centre and a fantastic spa which is located in tropical gardens. The Spa features two Jacuzzis and a relaxation room with juice bar. A range of treatments are available including 'The Kili Foot Treatment' and 'Apres Safari Treatment' which are specially designed packages to soothe and rejuvenate after an adventure filled safari in the African Bush.

Dining

The Breezes Beach Club Zanzibar has a choice of three restaurants, 'Salma dining room' is the main restaurant serving sumptuous buffet breakfast, four course table service and dinner and themed buffet nights are organised weekly. There is also and a la carte restaurant and 'Breakers Grill' offers fresh barbecue and catch daily at lunchtime on the beachfront. The'Chai room' offers tea, coffee and cakes daily and there are also three bars to choose from.
