Located on the peaceful south eastern coast of the island, lying on an untouched beach, "The Palms" is the ultimate getaway retreat providing a stunning recluse for the discerning traveller.

The six private villas are beautifully designed creating an atmosphere of relaxed, understated elegance. Each villa features a sophisticated interior composition in all colours of coffee and cream where filmy caramel coloured curtains billow, dark grained polished floors extend and the décor is a unique marriage of colonial grandeur and traditional design. It offers all the luxurious comforts and amenities of a five-star resort in an intimate setting with the most personal attention throughout your stay.

Location

The Palms is located besides its sister hotel, Breezes Beach Club, about one hour from the main airport and close to the village of Bweju on Zanzibar’s South East coast.

Recreation

Neighbouring facilities at The Palms’ sister hotel, Breezes Beach Club, include a fitness centre, floodlit tennis court and a marine activities centre with windsurfing and snorkelling. A fully equipped and licensed scuba diving centre is also available at a charge which is payable locally. As well as this, Palm’s guests have full access to Breezes’ Frangipani Spa where a wide range of treatments are available. The Palms itself features a swimming pool, evening bar, dining room, internet facilities and of course, the private beach-front bandas.

Rooms

The Palms has six villas, each over 140 square meters with a bedroom, living room, full en suite bathroom, dressing room, extra room with it's own en suite bathroom & large furnished terrace with views of the Indian Ocean. On the veranda, a silk-draped four-poster Zanzibar Bed accents a sunken, midnight blue plunge pool with long views of the Indian Ocean.
