General Information

Located just 18km from the coastal town of Plettenberg Bay, along South Africa’s famous Garden Route, with spectacular views overlooking indigenous forest.

This relaxed holiday destination is renowned for its outstanding cuisine, comfortable accommodation and friendly hospitality. The 16 suites are situated in the gardens and decorated in a warm African style, with private wooden decks. The 3-bedrooom Villa at Hog Hollow is only 400m from the main lodge and features an infinity pool and magnificent views over the valley and Tsitsikamma Mountains.

Location

Hog Hollow is located in the heart of the Garden Route, a mere 10 minute’s drive from the delightful coastal town of Plettenberg Bay. The lodge is set on a private nature reserve with towering views overlooking a verdant forest canopy.

Rooms

Hog Hollow boasts15 suites with king size beds and all with private decks overlooking forest vistas. Guests sleep comfortably in crisp linen and each night there is a special turndown. On chilly winter nights, a hot water bottle is slipped between the sheets just in case the cosy fireplace isn’t enough. Rooms are fitted with mini bars and mini hi-fi’s but no TVs or telephones.

Dining

Hog Hollow is well known for its delectable food. Farmhouse breakfasts are served overlooking the forest or near the huge fireplace when it’s cooler. In the evenings, guests enjoy dinners around the communal table in the candle-lit atmosphere of the main house. Meals are prepared using only the freshest of local produce and includes a selection of main courses of which fish, prawns and crayfish are daily features.
