Labelled a safari water camp, Jacana Camp is the ideal location to boat around and take traditional mokoro excursions in the famous Okavango Delta of Botswana. It occupies a small island in the Jao Flats concession and is a secluded water wonderland.
5 spacious en-suite tents are elevated on wooden decks and each have a unique outdoor shower, a true African safari delight. The main dining area is enclosed by two beautiful sycamore trees. This is an authentic Okavango Delta holiday escape.

Jacana Camp is situated about 25km west of Mombo, outside the Moremi Game reserve on the 60,000 hectare Jao Reserve.
Jacana Camp has five small meru-style tents accommodating a maximum of eight guests. Each tent is on a wooden deck overlooking the floodplains and has an en suite bathroom with flush toilet and shower. The bathrooms are enclosed, but roofless. Each tent is fitted with a fan, basic toiletries and insect repellent.
Lodge facilities include a dining room raised on decking overlooking the floodplains and a bar and lounge area downstairs beneath dining area. The camp offers a great landscape view from the lounge and dining area. Other attractions include an evening campfire, a gazebo with hammocks, a plunge pool and a curio shop.
