This itinerary is designed to make the most of some of the best game viewing areas the country has to offer. Start your journey in Tarangire National Park and learn of the inner workings of the bush on a walking safari before moving to the Serengeti. Here you will have the opportunity to experience the phenomenon of the Great Migration. Stay in comfort and style and enjoy the friendly, warm service of the Tanzanian hospitality wherever you go.

Day 1 - Arrive Arusha

Itinerary

Upon arrival at Arusha Airport, you will be met by your representative who will assist you with your transfer. Transfer by road to your accommodation for the night, Arusha Coffee Lodge. Nestled in the foothills of Mount Meru among the verdant coffee bushes of one of Tanzania’s largest coffee plantations is the idyllic Arusha Coffee Lodge. A short drive from Arusha airport, this is the perfect haven for relaxation before your African safari begins.

Days 2 to 4 - Arusha - Tarangire National Park

Itinerary

After breakfast, you will be met by a representative for your transfer through Arusha town to Arusha Airport. You will then catch your connecting Air Excel flight to Kuro Airstrip in Tarangire National Park. On arrival at Kuro Airstrip, you will be met by a guide from Oliver’s Camp. A welcome table will be set up either at the airstrip or a short distance away, with tea and coffee, cold drinks and snacks, allowing you to refresh while your guide briefs you on the surrounding area. A short game drive takes you to Oliver’s Camp. On arrival at Oliver’s Camp, spend the afternoon settling into your stylish room and the beautiful surroundings before heading into the dining area for lunch. After tea, experience your first taste of the wild and beautiful Tarangire National Park on an afternoon game drive with one of the superb guides. Once back at camp you will have the opportunity to freshen up and relax. Once refreshed you either have the option of going on a night drive or heading straight to the dining area for dinner and a drink by the camp fire.

Days 5 to 7 - Tarangire National Park - Serengeti National Park

Itinerary

After a scrumptious breakfast, you will be met your driver and be transferred to the Serengeti. Here, you will have the opportunity to explore the heart of the Serengeti from Dunia Camp. This is a tranquil tented camp with expansive views of the pristine wilderness. Enjoy superb sightings of resident game, the spectacular great migration and round it off by gliding serenely above the plains on a sunrise balloon safari.

Days 8 to 10 - Serengeti National Park (Northern)

Itinerary

After breakfast you will continue with your exploration of the Serengeti National Park on the beautiful and unspoilt Northern plains where extraordinary wilderness encounters are commonplace. You will be to explore from both on a vehicle and on foot. Sayari Camp is a remarkable award winning luxury camp offering a contemporary and elegant safari escape.

Day 11 - Depart

Itinerary

Depending on your arrangements, enjoy a final game drive deep in the wilderness before transferring to the airstrip for the next part of your journey.
